Medical Transcriptionists: Neuro Exam Videos!

I have a great link to share with you today regarding neurological examination. This is great information for medical transcriptionists to know. Like being able to put a name with a face, it is great to be able to see a demonstration of certain medical tests, the names of which you most likely type on a daily basis in medical reports.
This particular website, www.neuroexam.com, has short videos in which a neurologist demonstrates specific tasks and tests on a patient to determine mental status, motor coordination, sensory status, reflexes, coordination and gait.
These neurological exam videos have renewed my appreciation of the complexity of the human body. Every day activities and movements that we all perform are complex in nature from a neurological standpoint. It is when something goes wrong neurologically that we see the true magnitude of how much we take for granted.
